The Sepida Palm Tree is one of my favorite species of palm trees. They require a warmer climate than most palm trees. It takes them 15 years to grow a trunk. In my opinion they are some of the prettiest palms due to their bright red berries. It was my desire to create a work of floral art showcasing foliage and berries just for the sake of color. This was a fun piece!

One of my favorite flowers is the beautiful “Red Lotus”. These lily pond flowers come in shades of bright pinks and deep reds. They have tall stalks and gently lean over floating green lily pads. The Lotus flower represents serenity, reflection and new birth. As I have sat quietly around a lily pond full of Lotus Flowers I can attest that all of these things can be unveiled in one’s soul.
